Nandi Hills is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Bengaluru. It is 10 km from Chickballapur town and approximately 60 km from Bengaluru.

The climate in Nandi hills is moderate throughout the year with an average temperature of 20°C. The summers are cool and pleasant while winters are mild with temperatures around 10°C (50°F). The best time to visit this hill station is from October to March. The British were so impressed with the place that they decided to build a summer house there.
